London is my second home! I loved my few months living there and would go back in a heartbeat. Below are some of my favorite things to do in London- items that are bolded and in green are my do-not-miss recommendations.
- Visit famous sites to absorb English architecture, culture, and history:
- Trafalgar Square
- London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey
- Buckingham Palace (watch the changing of the guard)
- St Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London, London Bridge
- The British Library and St. Pancras Station
2. Take a full day to explore museums:
- The Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum (my favorite museum in the world)
- Natural History Museum
- Science Museum
- National Gallery - Trafalgar Square, focused on portraits and paintings
- Tate Modern - modern art, and the area around is perfect for relaxing
- The British Museum - many artifacts
- Museum of London - history of the city
- Somerset House - often has special exhibits
3. Explore some of the big parks:
- Kensington Gardens
- Kensington Rooftop Gardens
- Hyde Park
- Regent's Park
4. Spend time in Camden at the Lock Market and exploring the neighborhood!
Camden area is one of my favorites by far. The vibe is incredible, and you can
spend days exploring different parts of Camden. The horse stable markets sell all types of
unique and interesting objects- you'll first see white tents for the Camden Lock Market. Keep
going, the horse stable markets are further on. There are lots of places to relax, hang out with
friends, eat from the food stands...it's fantastic.

- Ice Bar London
- Leicester Square / Piccadilly Circus
